Only the lack of in-body stabilization, necessitating the use of a stabilized lens and digital stabilization, counts against the ZV-E10, resulting in a more effective vlogging tool than most smartphones or action cameras. Crucially the video quality is very high and the battery life is good. The already very effective autofocus system (which dependably tracks the person you ask it to, and focuses precisely on their eyes or face) is made even better for vlogging with the addition of a 'Product Showcase' mode that refocuses from a vlogger to anything held up in front of the camera, then reverts to face tracking when the item is moved away.

The Sony ZV-E10 is essentially a vlogging-friendly version of the company's a6100 mirrorless camera, gaining a fully articulated rear screen, revised controls and high-quality built-in mic to make it better suited for facing-the-camera video.
